Private Jet Safety - Our Commitment

North Star Charter is committed to the safety and security of our clients. We believe that the ultimate experience in luxury travel is not only the quality service you receive but the safety measures taking place that you may not even be aware of. You are our most valuable resource, we only fly you on the aircraft that meet or exceed the exceptional standards of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The FAA regulates the charter operators that service North Star Charters ’ clients, under FAA Regulation 135. Regulation 135 establishes the safety, maintenance, and operations standards for charter aircraft operators.

How do we ensure this? As mentioned before, we only work with the best in the industry. The average age of an aircraft is 7 years old. This means you have the latest technology making sure your trip goes smoothly without interruption. It is because we care for your safety that we have a strict selection process that we do not deviate from. This is the North Star Charter difference.

North Star Charter, LLC does not own or operator aircraft which allows us to provide unbiased information and research while working on our clients behalf to secure the safest and most reliable aircraft available in the marketplace.  North Star Charter acts as an authorized agent for FAR Part 135 air carriers operating under Section 14 Federal Code of Regulations.

In addition to the stringent requirements set forth by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for FAR Part 135 air carriers, North Star Charter additionally requires certain criteria to approve aircraft and carriers for flight operations.  This criteria includes approval from third party independent auditing agencies (ARG/US Gold, Gold Plus, or Platinum, and/or Wyvern Wingman), aircraft age and maintenance requirements, and appearance and condition of aircraft.

A "TripCheq" is provided, upon request, prior to every charter flight to verify pilot information and North Star Charter provides full disclosure of aircraft and operational control details, providing our clients with the upmost level of safety comfort and security for each and every charter flight.

We cherish the trust you place with us on every single charter flight.  At North Star Charter you can rest assured that the private jet will meet all our safety requirements. We understand that safety is a critical part of our success with every charter flight you take. That is why everyone we work with must follow the principles of North Star Charter. All our operators are considered to be the elite in the industry. They pride themselves in their aircraft as much as we pride ourselves in offering you the best service and safety imaginable. At North Star Charter we do care for your safety! This is the NSC difference.

*Gold Rating - The Gold, Gold Plus, and Platinum levels are assigned to operators who meet or exceed the established ARG/US standards for equipment and crew experience. The emphasis is not only age of aircraft, but also on modern avionics, progressive maintenance, and proven safety devices such as TCAD/TCAS, FMS, and TAWS/GPWS.
